Well, well, well…

Brooklyn State Senator Kevin Parker worked with fellow Democrats to pass the Adult Survivors Act in 2022 that allows victims of sexual crimes to sue alleged perpetrators years after the criminal statue of limitations had expired.

Seizing on the opportunity, a variety of women immediately sued high-profile public figures, including former New York mayor Rudy Giuliani, actors like Jamie Foxx and Cuba Gooding, Jr., former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, and current New York City Mayor Eric Adams. At least 70 complaints were filed in 2023 alone.

It also allowed writer E. Jean Carroll to successfully sue former President Donald Trump.

After supporting the bill, however, Senator Parker has changed his tune. He now says it’s unconstitutional, and here’s why:

The law that this senator helped pass is now being used to target him.

In court records filed this month, notoriously hot-headed pol Kevin Parker formally denied the rape allegations against him. But he also went a step further, asserting that the Adult Survivors Act, which allowed the related lawsuit against him to proceed, was unconstitutional.

Umm, where was Mr. Constitution when they were voting on the bill?
