These far-from-peaceful protests are escalating quickly, but it seems the violence at George Washington University in DC has been tampered after police cleared the encampment on Tuesday night.

As a recap, on May 3, protesters held a mock court hearing for Christopher Alan Bracey, GWU’s African American provost. They called for him to be executed.

After 14 days, police finally cleared the encampment, clashing with protesters into Wednesday morning.

According to reports, 38 protesters were arrested, including one juvenile.

GWU campus has been littered with tents, trash, Palestinian flags, a defaced statue of George Washington, and projected sayings such as “Long Live the Student Antifada,” “Gaza Lights the Spark That Will Set The Empire Ablaze,” and Joe Biden’s face with the words “Genocide Joe” on an American flag.

DC Mayor Muriel Bowser and Police Chief Pamela Smith were scheduled to speak before the House Oversight Committee on Wednesday to discuss the protests, but the meeting has been canceled since police moved in and finally cleared the mess.

When the protesters are so extreme that even DC’s far-left mayor has to shut them down, you know it’s bad!!
