The Democrat Party’s “squad” of progressives has decided to stand staunchly and unequivocally with America’s pro-Palestine “protesters.”

Besides posting tweets praising the “protesters,” members of the “squad” have also taken to visiting the college campuses where the “protests” are occurring to speak directly with and praise the pro-Hamas agitators.

Case in point: Rep. Ilhan Omar visited Columbia University’s anti-Israel encampment this Thursday to show support. Afterward, she wrote online that she was awed by “their bravery and courage.”

She previously posted a tweet earlier this week defending the “protest.”

“Throughout history, protests were co-opted and made to look bad so police and public leaders would shut them down. That’s what we are seeing now at Columbia University,” she wrote.

“The Columbia protesters have made clear their demands and want their school not to be complacent in the ongoing Genocide in Gaza. Public officials and media making this about anything else are inflaming the situation and need to bring calmness and sanity back,” she added.

Prior to Omar’s visit to Columbia, she attacked House Speaker Mike Johnson, a Republican, over his own visit to the school Wednesday to condemn (not praise) the “protests.”

“This is a man who is holding on to his Speakership,” she said during an MSNBC appearance. “And it is not surprising that he would go out to Columbia University and stir up really more anger and hate and endanger the lives of young people who are at the encampment at Columbia University.”

She also slammed Republicans for complaining about the pro-Palestine “protests” but allegedly supporting the Jan. 6th riot.

“I mean, it’s a complete clown show,” she said. “These people do not care about violent protests. They don’t care about First Amendment. They care about their — performing their political theater, which is what they most of the time do.”

“These are people who supported insurrectionists on Jan. 6, who threatened my life, and the lives of all of our colleagues, who threatened the peaceful transfer of governance,” she added.

Rep. Ayanna Pressley, another member of the radicalized “squad,” also “plans to speak with student organizers this week,” her office told Axios.

Meanwhile, Rep. Jamaal Bowman posted a tweet earlier this week sticking up for the “protesters” after the police rightly began arresting them.

“I condemn any potential police action on Columbia University’s campus,” he wrote. “As an educator who personally experienced the over policing of our schools, this is personal to me. We must resist right-wing demagoguery and stop suppressing peaceful protest if we are to keep students safe.”

Then there’s radical Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who posted a tweet Tuesday slamming Columbia University for calling the cops on the “protesters.”

“Calling in police enforcement on nonviolent demonstrations of young students on campus is an escalatory, reckless, and dangerous act,” she wrote. “It represents a heinous failure of leadership that puts people’s lives at risk. I condemn it in the strongest possible terms.”

She doubled down in an additional tweet posted the following day:

The latter tweet prompted a fierce comeback from the New York Police Department’s patrol chief.

“I was with those ‘units’ last Thursday that you describe as having, ‘the most violent reputations,’” he wrote in a tweet. “These ‘units’ removed students with great care and professionalism, not a single incident was reported.”

“The only incidents that day on campus were the student’s hateful anti-Semitic speech and vile language towards our cops. I am sure you agree any hateful speech is unacceptable. You should rethink your comments to a simple thank you to the NYPD and hate has no place in our society,” he added.
