If there is one thing that left-wingers truly excel at it’s playing the victim and that’s what Columbia University agitator Isra Hirsi has been doing since she was suspended from school last week.

The young woman who has grabbed attention for being the daughter of Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN), a rabidly anti-Semitic member of the Democrat “Squad” is now claiming that anti-Israel protesters are the real victims and not the Jewish students who are being terrorized by pro-Hamas mobs.

During an appearance on MSNBC, Hirsi claimed that the protesters whose animosity for Jews has shocked the nation were subjected to what she described as a “chemical weapons” attack on the Ivy League school’s New York City campus last week.

The 21-year-old is a chip off the old block and she and a fellow student activist joined host Ayman Mohyeldin, both clad in the checkered keffiyeh scarfs favored by Hamas terrorists, claiming that they were sprayed with a toxic substance by opposing students and accusing Columbia University of hypocrisy.

“This is 100 percent targeted,” she said of the disciplinary action. “Every single protest that we have, there’s a group of counter protesters that bring all of their items, their flags, and things like that. And they’re not seen as having unsanctioned protests or really receiving the kind of disciplinary warnings that many of our fellow organizers receive just for being seen at these protests.”

“And so there is definitely some hypocrisy here, especially you can kind of see it with the students that were — that were — sprayed us with the chemical weapons,” Hirsi continued, alleging the use of some unidentified substance.

“And the fact that there’s no public information as to what happened to them, but rather the university’s actively discussing what is happening to the students here and making it a whole public spectacle, rather than — when we haven’t done anything to physically harm students, whereas those that sprayed those chemical weapons physically harmed students,” she added.

Hirsi. a student at nearby Barnard College was suspended for her role in helping to organize the protests at Columbia which took an ugly turn over the weekend when Jewish students were threatened, prompting the school’s rabbi to urge them to stay away from the campus which has been taken over by terrorist sympathizers demanding that divestment from Israel.

She was also among those who were arrested when NYPD officers moved in on the Hamas tent city on Columbia’s lawn last week. she later whined to the smutty leftist rag Teen Vogue that she was “homeless and hungry” after her suspension from Barnard.

“I don’t know when I can go home, and I don’t know if I ever will be able to. I haven’t formally been evicted. I haven’t been sent a “move out” email, but they’ve just said that I can’t get in, whatever that means. I have like four shirts, two pairs of pants. Only Barnard students are evicted, and I think it’s pretty crazy,” she whined.

“I cannot go to the dining hall. I sent them an email like, ‘Hey, I rely on campus for my meals, I rely on my dining plan,’ and they were like, Oh, you can come pick up a prepackaged bag of food, a full 48 hours after I was suspended. There was no food support, no nothing,” she claimed, as if she couldn’t just pick up her phone and put a call in to mom.

“Could you spare me? I’ve only got crocodile tears for this person,” Megyn Kelly said during Monday’s edition of “The Megyn Kelly Show” on SiriusXM, saying that she had no sympathy for little Omar because she “made herself a public face of these protests.”

“She decides to paint her time there as like, she was basically just kicked out of the last homeless shelter in New York, with no food and no roof over her head,” the conservative journalist and podcaster said.
