E. Jean Carroll appeared on Rachel Maddow’s MSNBC show on Monday night after she was awarded $83 million in a civil trial against former President Donald Trump.

Carroll told Maddow that she plans to take her shopping and more with the money to help “women’s rights.”

The suggestion from Carroll caused her lawyer Shawn Crowley, who was seated next to her to insist, “that’s a joke.”

In a clip shared on X, Maddow asked Carroll what she planned to do with “Trump’s money” to help “women’s rights.”

Carroll then described some various activities that she and Maddow could do together which included fishing in France.

Maddow burst out in laughter and said, “Although if me fishing in France could do something for women’s rights, I would take the hit.”

Journalist Megyn Kelly shared the post and quipped, “This is the kind of clip that could win Trump the election.”

As we previously reported, during a Monday appearance on “CBS Mornings,” Carroll vowed to do “anything she can” to stop Donald Trump from becoming president again.
