Fox News contributor and civil rights attorney Leo Terrell responded today after Maine Secretary of State Shenna Bellows banned former President Donald Trump from the state’s primary ballot.

In a post on X, Terrell announced, “Her political career is over!” The post came in a quote from another post that shared pictures of Bellows with Barack Obama and Joe Biden.

Digital strategist Alex Bruesewitz pointed out that Bellows is an “unelected” official as the legislature in Maine voted her into her position.

Terrell later added a pair of posts on X about the situation as he declared in one, “Maine Secretary of State Shenna Bellows is crazy!”

In another, Terrell added that he believes, “Maine Secretary of State Shenna Bellows is supported by Democrats and RINOS!”

As we previously reported, Bellows said in her ruling, “I conclude that Mr. Trump’s primary petition is invalid. Specifically, I find that the declaration on his candidate consent form is false because he is not qualified to hold the office of the President under Section Three of the Fourteenth Amendment.”

In a statement responding to Bellows’ decision, campaign spokesperson Steven Cheung said, “We are witnessing, in real-time, the attempted theft of an election and the disenfranchisement of the American voter.”

Cheung vowed that the campaign would file a legal objection to the decision. In Colorado, the state GOP filed an appeal to the Supreme Court which led to the decision by Griswold.
