Former President Donald Trump took a break from the political persecution currently underway in a New York City courtroom to release a video calling on President Joe Biden to debate him “right now,” and Biden appears to be ready.

The issue of a debate came up last month during Biden’s softball interview with now 70-year-old shock jock-turned-Democrat-shill Howard Stern. The geriatric president said, “I’m happy to debate him,” before adding, “I don’t know when.”

“Dear Joe, now that you’ve committed to debate on the ratings-challenged Howard Stern Show, let’s set it up right now,” Trump said in his video message. “I’m ready to go anywhere that you are. We could do it in D.C., even pinpoint the White House, or in New York when your radical-left fascists are finished with the election interference against your political opponent — me — because we’re gonna win and we’re gonna win big.”

“In any event, let’s get it done,” the presumptive 2024 Republican presidential nominee continued. “The people of our country deserve to know why you have allowed 15 million people in, probably many more than that, into our country from prisons and mental institutions, and terrorists are pouring into our country. They’re invading our country and you’re letting them do it with your open border policy.

“And it’s a shame what you are doing to the United States of America. You are destroying our beautiful, beautiful nation.”

Trump also took a shot at Biden for his push on electric vehicles, while issuing a warning to the UAW.

“Those cars don’t go far, they’re very expensive and they will all be made in China,” the former president said. “And I hope you are listening United Auto Workers because your union head is destroying you. They are all going to be made in China, we’re not going to have any jobs in Michigan unless I’m elected.”

The video concluded with Trump saying that Biden is “allowing energy prices to skyrocket, our economy to crash and inflation to reach levels that we have never seen before.”

“Maybe you have a reason for this, and you’ll have a chance to talk about it, but let’s get to the debate right now,” he said. “The American people have the right to know. Anytime, anywhere, anyplace, let’s go, Joe. Let’s debate.”

Trump suggested the White House as a location last month after Biden’s interview with Stern, “We’ll do it at the White House. That would be very comfortable, actually. You tell me where. We’re ready.”

Biden was asked about debating Trump following a ceremony celebrating the WNBA champions on Thursday afternoon and offered a three-word response: “Set it up.”

Of course, it’s up to the 81-year-old president’s handlers when or IF he actually debates — Trump cleared the way for no debates when he refused to debate his opponents in the Republican primary.
