Survival TV star Bear Grylls, Russell Brand, a friend named Joe, and the Holy Ghost all met in the River Thames as Brand publicly gave his life to Christ and was baptized two weeks ago.

(I think a pastor was also involved 😂)

Grylls is open about his faith in Christ and has partnered with UK ministries like Alpha, which aims to help churches in the post-Christian West share the Gospel with their neighbors.

When asked about standing alongside Brand during his baptism, this is how Grylls answered The Daily Mail:

Last night, Grylls told the Daily Mail: ‘Faith and spiritual moments in our lives are really personal, but it is a privilege to stand beside anyone when they express a humble need for forgiveness and strength from above.

‘Friendships when we go through tough times are worth so much.’
