In case you were wondering why people are graduating college with an increased risk of mental illness, it’s because of things like this.

UC Berkeley held a lecture titled “Furries, Neurodivergence, and STEM: Finding Your Path from Zero to One to One Billion” and I wish I were joking.

According to the website description:

Furries? In my academia? It’s more likely than you think! End your semester with a special speaker event brought to you by Furries at Berkeley, where the co-founder of Xenogen and inventor of the green light heart rate sensor, Dr. David “Spottacus” Benaron, will come give a masterclass all about thriving at the intersection of academia, entrepreneurship, neurodivergence, and being a fluffy animal.

(This is the inaugural installment of the Furry Masterclass series, with support from the Multicultural Initiative Fund and special thanks to the ASUC – Office of the President, Department of Molecular and Cell Biology, and Department of Bioengineering.)

The Department of Molecular and Cell Biology and the Department of Bioengineering co-hosted the event because this is how much of a joke these schools are becoming.

I think it’s been proven without a shadow of a doubt that this society needs to stop glorifying depravity. There is no reason we should accept a grown man in a mascot-like animal costume and celebrate it as if it’s something significant. It’s bizarre and should be condemned to the fullest extent. I cannot even comprehend why people enjoy prancing around like that. Doesn’t it get unbearably hot?

The guy in the costume is David Benaron and he invented the heart rate monitor on your smartphone.

According to The Sun, Benaron lives “as he’s well-known in the ‘furry’ community as a character named Spottacus Cheetah who attends events dressed as a wild cat.”

I had a bad feeling about those smartwatches and now I know why, it was developed by a degenerate weirdo who lives a “double life” as a “wild cat.”

One of the worst things we have done as a society was “affirm” everyone’s feelings as if they were valid. His feelings of living as a wild cat are not valid and universities should not encourage this. He should be mocked and there’s no logical reason why a grown adult should be proud of this.

UC Berkley is also the same school that does everything in its power to get Conservative Speakers off campus but thinks that it’s better for intellectual debate to have a man dressed as a wild cat give a lecture. You really cannot make this up.

At one point in time, people were shamed for their perverse desires and now we must “affirm” them as if society is the problem. That is insane and no one should ever condone any of that.
