An unexpected benefit emerging from the monied anti-Israel protests on college campuses is a surge in patriotism.
The agitators increasingly expose themselves as hating America as much as, if not more than, they hate Jewish people. At Harvard University, protesters hoisted a Palestinian flag over the iconic statue of John Harvard — which is a hallowed space reserved for the Stars & Stripes. Surprisingly, the Ivy League school intervened and removed the flag representing a people who overwhelmingly support the terrorist group Hamas.
In what may be a response to that slight, a group of people identified online as “patriots” blasted the Star Spangled Banner at the Harvard Yard encampment around midnight Monday.
It’s after midnight, and patriots are BLASTING the Star Spangled Banner at the Harvard encampment while “protestors” are sleeping

Interim Harvard President Alan Garber issued a warning on Monday to students participating in the encampment.
Garber announced: “I write today with this simple message: The continuation of the encampment presents a significant risk to the educational environment of the University. Those who participate in or perpetuate its continuation will be referred for involuntary leave from their Schools. Among other implications, students placed on involuntary leave may not be able to sit for exams, may not continue to reside in Harvard housing, and must cease to be present on campus until reinstated.”
As seen in the South, there has been what is begin called a “frat bro uprising” of American students, who are beginning to push back on the hard-left protests.
Frat Bros at LSU are making fun of the Pro Palestine protesters by saying Gaza has zero college football championships.

Outkick’s David Hookstead shared his thoughts on the counter-protests in a video, adding in a tweet: “Patriots across the country support the heroes on college campuses crushing anti-America rallies. The good guys are winning, and we won’t apologize for it!”

What we do know is that there is serious non-profit money pouring in to support the antisemtic protests, much like the nation saw with the Black Lives Matter riots in the summer of 2020.
Here’s a quick sampling of responses to the story, as seen on the social media platform X:
I honestly can’t believe it’s considered a “counter protest” to play our frickin NATIONAL ANTHEM at these encampments….in America!
But I still love to see it

This is brilliant. They should do this every night.

Should play Christian music, I am sure the Pro Hamas anarchists will leave for tonight.

Good for them!
I can’t help noticing they’re very well equipped, those spontaneous protesters!— An Israeli mother (@IsraMum) May 7, 2024
The obvious next track is the 1812 overture
