Disney wants you to know that a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away, and order of space wizards embodied every finer point of modern American gender theory in the early 21st century!

Not only that, but even the dark-side inquisitors used by the Sith Lords to hunt down Jedi for sport make sure to respect personal pronouns!!

It’s sad, because megafans know that Barriss Offee’s story (she’s the one who wanted to save the Jedi) has so much depth and potential to teach kids about good versus evil (and the episode after this does just that with a message about forgiveness and new life). Instead, everyone is talking about how dumb it is that they made both Barriss and her boss (the Fourth Sister) respect gender pronouns.

Disney’s formula for how to destroy every franchise it has ever owned:

Beyond the absolute stupidity of it all, I don’t think Disney actually thought this one through.

Someone at Disney analytics probably told the writers to shoehorn in some LGBT content, but they ended up giving the gender cult a dead Jedi to call their own.
