After a report on the latest in the so-called hush-money trial, Fox News host Brian Kilmeade made a flattering observation about former President Donald Trump.

Fox News correspondent Eric Shawn updated the “Fox & Friends” viewers on the latest in the criminal trial involving a payment made to porn star Stormy Daniels ahead of the 2016 election. The 45-year-old former stripper took the stand Tuesday to testify on an alleged one-night stand.

Kilmeade remarked about Trump’s “character” and the kind of organization he ran which resulted in praise and loyalty from his former employees and associates.

“Just a quick thing to add, just noteworthy: How great must it be to work for Donald Trump?” he remarked.

“Whatever people say on the outside, you have Rhona [Graff], who was there forever,” Kilmeade said, referring to longtime Trump executive assistant.

“And then you have this COO say, ‘One of the hardest things I had to do is quit after 36 years because the court cases were coming up too fast and furious,’” Kilmeade went on.

“You have Hope Hicks, who looks back at those days working for Trump and gets misty-eyed because she feels such a loyalty to him,” Kilmeade said, referring to former Trump aide Hope Hicks who cried on the stand when asked about her long relationship with Trump.

“You have a CFO sitting in Rikers Island for the second straight time, because he refuses to make up lies about the guy he worked for and would go back and work for him again,” Kilmeade said, this time referring to former Trump Organization CFO Allen Weisselberg who pleaded guilty to lying under oath during testimony in the New York civil fraud case against the presumptive 2024 Republican nominee.

The Associated Press noted in March that “In pleading guilty, Weisselberg found himself caught again between the law and his loyalty to Trump, whose family employed him for nearly 50 years, sent him into retirement with a $2 million severance and has continued to pay his legal bills.”

Kilmeade, who has interviewed the former president on several occasions, summed up the loyalty of those who worked for him.

“So whatever you say about Trump and his organization, it’s a big success. And he treated everybody there like family,” he said.

“And I think that says a lot about the character of the person that many people can’t understand his popularity still,” he concluded.

The former president is facing a staggering 34 felony counts of allegedly falsifying business records in connection with the payment to Daniels. Trump is also facing thousands in fines for violating the gag order and Judge Juan Merchan has threatened him with jail time if he continues.
