In 2022, Texas East pitcher Kaiden Shelton whacked Tulsa’s Isaiah Jarvis in the head with a stray ball during the Little League Southwest Region championship.

What happened next went viral, and it’s going viral again 2 years later, so I wanted to share it with a whole new audience as we enter into a busy summer and a crazy election season:

The dude got hit and he KNEW that the pitcher was shaken up by it.

And that hug spoke volumes.

This is one of the best examples of sportsmanship I have ever seen, at any level of competition. In the MLB, there may have been a fight. Little leaguers are checking on their opponents and encouraging them.

There’s nothing soft about this.

If this is what the next generation is like, we’re going to make it. ✊
