Former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee and Fox News contributor Charlie Hurt joined Hannity Tuesday night to react to the NYPD crackdown on anti-Israel protesters.

More than 300 protesters were arrested Tuesday night into Wednesday morning by NYPD officers.

“It’s kind of sad. I would argue that any riot, any time, any place is wrong,” Hannity said, attacking the Left’s “mostly peaceful” protest narrative.

“Let’s be clear — if these were Trump supporters shutting down an American campus, or if these were Republican voters who were behaving like this — hectoring these students for their religion, none of this would be happening. This would be wiped clean immediately. The FBI would be on the scene and everyone would be arrested and thrown under the jail,” Hurt said.

“The most important thing that we will remember from history when we look back at this time is the degree to which Democrats … have taken the Justice Department and used it as a political weapong to go after all of their enemies.

“Democrats made a deal with the Devil. They are desperate to get these punks to vote for them.”
