Tennessee Senator Marsha Blackburn got into a heated X exchange with squad Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) over the legacy of the anti-Israel protesters currently wreaking havoc at our nation’s colleges.

It all started when Omar shared a screengrab of a recent Blackburn post on X.

“Any student who has promoted terrorism or engaged in terrorists [sic] acts on behalf of Hamas should be immediately … added to the terrorist watch list and placed on the TSA No Fly List,” Blackburn said.

Omar fired back, saying “A sitting Senator, labels Americans protesting against a foreign country accused of carrying out a genocide funded with our tax dollars as terrorists and puts a target on their back to be attacked. This is insanely dangerous and somehow no one will condemn it.”

Blackburn responded to Omar, adding “You falsely think some Jewish students are ‘pro-genocide.’ I think most Jews believe you’re anti-semitic.”

“Despite what you’ve said, [Omar], Jewish students aren’t ‘pro-genocide,’ history won’t be on the side of anti-Semitic protestors,” she said in another post. Alluding to older comments by Omar, Blackburn added, “(T)he US and Israel aren’t responsible for ‘crimes against humanity,’ the IDF is an army, and Hamas is a terrorist group, and Israel hasn’t ‘hypnotized the world.’”
