A Utah woman is facing a sexual battery charge after she tugged down a teenager’s short skirt in a St. George Japanese restaurant.

Ida Ann Lorenzo, who identified herself as a Utah state employee, pulled down the teen’s skirt in the lobby of the Sakura Japanese Steakhouse on Saturday and threatened to call Child Protective Services.

“If I have to watch your a**cheeks hanging out again, I will call CPS,” she warns the girl in front of her group of friends.

Phones emerged, eyes rolled, and the confrontation quickly turned into a viral TikTok video.

“Do it,” one of the girls tells Lorenzo, 48.

“She’s over 18,” another girl can be heard saying.

“She is 19 years old,” one of the girls confirms.

“You don’t get to touch her,” the girls tell Lorenzo.

Police agreed. Lorenzo was charged with sexual battery.

“Documents filed Wednesday in 5th District Court show Lorenzo, of Santa Clara, is facing a single count of the Class A misdemeanor charge,” ABC4 reports. “She was booked into jail, but has since been released.”

According to a statement of probable cause, Lorenzo called the cops that night to report the incident.

The teen had her skirt “hiked above her vagina and butt,” she told dispatch, adding that her pubic hair was visible. There were young children present, so when the restaurant staff and parents didn’t do anything, she took it upon herself to pull the girl’s skirt down.

“Later that night she called 911 again, this time saying that a video of the aftermath was posted online, along with her name, insinuating that she committed a crime that was sexual in nature,” according to ABC4. “Lorenzo explained that because she holds a position with the state, she felt this was a ‘threat on her life,’ the police report states.”

Asked by police why she thought touching another person was appropriate, Lorenzo insisted she only touched her skirt.

According to the police report, the officer informed Lorenzo that it was still criminal behavior and was not, in fact, appropriate.

“She comes up to my friend and reaches under her skirt, yanks it down and then squeezes her sides, because she is wearing a crop top, and says ‘you’re probably under age, you probably shouldn’t be wearing that,’” witness CC Snow says in her TikTok video.

“It was like a fever dream, it [felt] like it was fake, this is not actually happening,” Snow added. “This is not real life.”

The video, which has racked up 2.3 million views, “clearly showed [Lorenzo] approaching the females,” touching them, and threatening to call authorities, police said, according to ABC4.

The teen who was skirt-shamed called police and claimed she was sexually assaulted.

“She told investigators that Lorenzo came up behind her without warning, touched her buttocks, and pulled down her skirt,” ABC4 reports. “The incident left her feeling ‘startled’ and ‘violated,’ the police report states. Several witnesses also filed similar reports with police.”

Her pubic hair could not have been exposed, the teen told police, because she was wearing underwear.

“Before Lorenzo was arrested, she denied touching the teen’s skin, and she repeated that she thought the teen was nude underneath the skirt, the police report states,” according to ABC4. “The officer told Lorenzo that even if the teen was naked under the skirt, her actions still meet the criminal elements of sexual battery.

“She was booked Wednesday into the Purgatory Correctional Facility in Hurricane.”
