A top NYPD official slapped down Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) over another of her typically asinine takes after she dumped on New York’s finest over their presence at Columbia University.

Things have now spun completely out of control on the formerly prestigious Ivy League school’s campus where pro-Palestine mobs have taken over due to a lack of assertiveness from the spineless administration which, amid national outrage over the ugly scenes, reversed course and invited the cops in.

Like her fellow “Squad” members, Ocasio-Cortez has been a vocal supporter of the occupation of Columbia by Jew-hating campus insurrectionists – one of them her crony Ilhan Omar’s daughter – and she tore into the NYPD for dispatching a counterterrorism unit, a seemingly appropriate response for dealing with Hamas supporters.

“Not only did Columbia make the horrific decision to mobilize NYPD on their own students, but the units called in have some of the most violent reputations on the force. NYPD had promised the city they wouldn’t deploy SRG to protests. So why are these counterterror units here?” AOC wrote on X, sharing a post showing officers wearing counterterrorism jackets.

Responding to the progressive diva’s missive was NYPD Chief of Patrol John Chell, a dedicated law enforcement professional who wasn’t about to take any guff from the mouthy former bartender.

“Columbia decided to hold its students accountable to the laws of the school. They are seeing the consequences of their actions. Something these kids were most likely never taught. Good SAT scores and self-entitlement do not supersede the law,” Chief Chell said in response to the progressive’s post. “I am sure you would agree that we have to teach them these valuable life skills.”

“Secondly, I was with those ‘units’ last Thursday that you describe as having, ‘the most violent reputations.’ These ‘units’ removed students with great care and professionalism, not a single incident was reported,” Chell added, defending his officers. “The only incidents that day on campus were the student’s hateful anti-Semitic speech and vile language towards our cops. I am sure you agree any hateful speech is unacceptable. You should rethink your comments to a simple thank you to the NYPD and hate has no place in our society.”

“Maybe you should walk around Columbia and NYU and listen to their remarks of pure hatred. I will ensure those ‘units’ will protect you as they do for all NYers 24/7/365. Lack of accountability = consequences,” the chief concluded. “Hate from anyone, anywhere has no place in our city and country.”

“Everyone has a Constitutional right to protest, it’s one of the pillars our great democracy is built on. But kids also have a right to go to school without being harassed, threatened, intimidated or assaulted. There is nothing “horrific” about protecting the safety of Columbia’s young students who are just trying to go to school,” said NYPD Deputy Commissioner Kaz Daughtry in another X post, inviting the yappy congresswoman to check out Columbia.

“I encourage you @AOC to visit Columbia and do a walk through; I promise our officers will, like always, do their job, and protect you like they have protected everyone on campus regardless of what your political beliefs are. We’ll also take a report if you feel threatened,” the deputy commish said.

Like many of her fellow Democrats, she has chosen sides in the conflict between Israel and the Hamas terrorists that attacked it in a conflict that has spilled over into America and she also attacked GOP lawmakers who spoke at Columbia on Wednesday along with embattled Speaker of the House Mike Johnson.

AOC’s threat wasn’t well received by X users who carpet-bombed the “congresswoman for Hamas” back to the Stone Age.

The shrill socialist just can’t help herself when it comes to shooting from the hip but, most often, she only ends up shooting herself in the foot.
