Joe Biden, America’s “genius” president, mixed up the date of the Jan. 6th riot during a fundraiser Thursday.

Held at the Westchester home of Hollywood stars Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones, the fundraiser fell by the wayside when the president tried to bring up the Jan. 6th riot.

“We’ll certainly never forget the dark days of June 6th …  Jan. 6th, excuse me,” he said, according to Charlie Spiering of the Daily Mail.

*facepalm*

For the uninitiated, June 6th marks D-Day, the day that Allied forces invaded Normandy during the World War II war.

Later during the fundraiser, Biden predictably took to spewing lie after lie about former President Donald Trump.

“We’ll never forget him wanting tear gas to be sprayed on peaceful protesters outside the White House, and holding the Bible upside down. Now he’s writing his own Bible,” he said, according to the New York Post.

Liar, liar, liar …

The “peaceful protesters” were violent extremists who nearly burned down the church lying feet away from the White House and also attacked the police.

They hurled “projectiles including bricks, frozen water and caustic liquids” at the authorities, according to a statement issued at the time by U.S. Park Police Chief Gregory T. Monahan.

“Intelligence had revealed calls for violence against the police, and officers found caches of glass bottles, baseball bats and metal poles hidden along the street,” Monahan added.

In response, the authorities first issued three warnings and then, after being ignored, used smoke canisters and pepper balls to push the extremists away.

Afterward, Biden and his devoted allies in the media predictably sided with the extremists by distorting the truth and claiming that the authorities had unjustly fired tear gas at the protesters at the behest of the president and without any provocation whatsoever.

It took multiple statements, including from Monahan and then-White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany, to dispel this lie and get the actual truth out there.

The current president also used Thursday’s fundraiser to once again repeat the lie about Trump and bleach, slamming the former president for “lying about COVID and telling the American people to inject bleach in their arms.”

“He injected it in his hair,” the president claimed.

Liar, liar, liar …

Meanwhile, in related news, Thursday’s fundraiser reportedly caused a traffic nightmare for locals.

“Westchester County officials closed about a 2-mile-long stretch of Route 9, from Tarrytown to Irvington, ahead of the 81-year-old president’s appearance at the high-dollar fundraiser,” according to the Post. “Other road closures were not announced because of security concerns.”

Locals were not pleased:

All this comes days after the president made yet another gaffe while speaking at a campaign event in Florida about the abortion bans cropping up across the country.

“Let’s be real clear: There’s one person responsible for this nightmare, and he’s acknowledged and he brags about it: Donald Trump,” the president said.

“Folks, in a sense, I don’t know why we’re surprised by Trump. How many times does he have to prove we can’t be trusted?” he added.

He obviously meant to say “How many times does he [Trump] have to prove HE can’t be trusted” but screwed up in typical Biden fashion.

His critics were overjoyed by the gaffe because Biden unintentionally admitted the truth —  that HE and his administration can’t be trusted.

The same thing happened four years earlier when Biden was speaking on “Pod Save America” about voter fraud.

“We’re in a situation where we have put together — and you guys did it for President Obama’s administration before this — we have put together, I think, the most extensive and inclusive voter fraud organization in the history of American politics,” he said.

Thanks to the president’s notorious inability to speak properly, he made it sound as if the organization would be about perpetrating voter fraud.
