The suspect was identified as 35-year-old Wesley Pollard of an unknown residence, according to the San Jose Police Department. He remains in custody at Elmwood Correctional Facility in Milpitas with a bail of $26,000.

He actually has bail??

Pro tip for the thugs out there: You can get away with almost anything in California, but don’t attack a Democrat politician. That has actual consequences.

Pollard was booked for resisting an arrest with violence and for battery of an officer, SJPD said. It was later discovered that Pollard had a warrant for his arrest from Georgia for resisting arrest with violence.

Pollard is scheduled to appear in court this Friday at noon.

I wonder if this perp will keep the clown show going in court?
