Just like the pro-Hamas protests and encampments at Columbia University, New York University (NYU) has also seen its share of Useful Idiots parading in the streets and on campus in “liberated zones,” demanding administrators “divest” from Israel and in general cheering for Hamas terrorists to be victorious in their campaign to wipe Jews off the face of the Earth.

As RedState reported Tuesday, things got so intense at the NYU protests that the NYPD was called in to clean house and reestablish order. In the process, dozens were arrested including some professors who had previously formed a human wall around the agitators to protect them from consequences.

Among the students arrested were Moné Makkawi, whose LinkedIn profile sports “she/her” pronouns and which notes she’s a Ph.D. candidate in Middle Eastern studies.

On Twitter/X, Ms. Makkawi goes by the handle “Girl Boss Gulag,” but she didn’t sound like much of a fearless tough Girl Boss when describing her arrest and detainment in the following mini-thread:

after abducting me & hundred of other nyu students + faculty yesterday, NYPD female officers in holding cells stole my possessions, then talked about it in front of others that were detained after I was released, bragging about how they were teaching me a lesson for protesting.

these people have no interest in protecting or serving anyone but capital, most of them are white supremacists even if they are black/brown. the way they move and operate reflects a deep disdain for the black/brown people they target, harass, surveil, police.

Pretty much everything she claimed speaks for itself (and her) and needs no translation from yours truly, but I will say that claiming she was “abducted” takes quite a bit of chutzpah considering the radicals whom she’s cheering for actually did do some abducting on October 7th, along with the raping, torturing, and murdering that also took place. 

Some of the Israeli civilians whom they abducted are still in captivity some six months later and are disgustingly being paraded around for propaganda purposes by Hamas, something the privileged Ms. Makkawi should think about before she goes all whiny girl on social media about having to spend a few hours in a holding cell without her iPhone and lipstick.

As always, when you put yourself out there on Twitter, you subject yourself to responses you might not want to see, which is exactly what Ms. Girl Boss got.

“You should’ve not only been arrested, but expelled. You’re nothing but a bunch of violent, uneducated, anti-Semitic useful idiots,” wrote one.

“You were arrested. Your possessions were confiscated, documented, and held until you were processed and released. It’s standard procedure for anyone arrested for breaking the law. Stop being so dramatic. This is what adulthood means. Consequences,” another informed her.

And then, there was this, which summed up things rather nicely:

Yep, and the more these people get coddled by so-called “leaders,” the worse it’s going to get, unfortunately.
