Prepping for a second Trump term as president the former president’s sons are taking control of his transition team, vowing that choices will be made based on ideology and loyalty to their father.

There is no one that former President Trump trusts more than his children. Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump will reportedly head up, but not run, his transition team should he win the upcoming presidential election, which looks more and more probable by the day. Axios has labeled the brothers “loyalty czars.”

“Neither brother would officially run Donald Trump’s transition team, but they’d take a lead in making sure government jobs are filled by Republicans aligned with Trump’s vision for the party, the sources said,” Axios reported.

The media seems to consider this to be some sort of bad thing, though many conservatives believed in Trump’s first term that he should have done exactly this… clean house and staff his administration with those who see things the way he does.

It’s vital to Trump’s administration that this time around only those who can be relied upon be put in positions of trust.

“Don Jr.’s goal ‘is to keep the John Boltons of the world outside a second Trump administration,’ a person close to him told Axios, referring to Donald Trump’s hawkish former national security adviser who wrote a bestselling book lambasting the former president,” Axios added.

“People have to understand that America First, the MAGA movement, is the new Republican Party. That is conservatism today,” Trump Jr. commented in March on Newsmax’s “The Balance.” “You know, there may be the Mitt Romneys and the Liz Cheneys out there. But that is a rare and dying breed.”

“He’s going to lead the country the way it’s supposed to be led,” Trump Jr. said concerning his father’s potential second term. “His retribution will be success for our country.”

Donald Trump Jr. recently told the New York Post in an interview that he plans to be “very active” in the transition this time. He is hoping that Republicans such as former Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe and former White House aide Cliff Sims are involved with the team.

“He said he wanted to make sure ‘we stop some of the D.C. swamp rats and the swamp creatures from getting in there and doing their thing,’” Axios said regarding Trump’s oldest son. “He has said he’s not looking to join a second Trump administration but has been lobbying his father on a variety of issues — including who should be the GOP’s vice presidential nominee. Don Jr. has said he wants a ‘fighter’ and has mentioned Ohio Sen. J.D. Vance as a contender.”

The transition team is determined to ensure that whoever comes on board shares the MAGA vision of Trump.

“The groups’ aim has been to pre-vet potential contenders for Cabinet-level and lower staff positions to aid Donald Trump’s desire to remake the government in his image — without the resistance he faced from career civil servants and some Republicans during his presidency,” Axios wrote.

“Those efforts have included former Trump aides who could be in a future administration. Trump campaign advisers believe the groups can be helpful but have been infuriated as the Biden campaign has used the groups’ policy papers to attack the campaign,” the media outlet continued.

“Last November, top Trump aides Susie Wiles and Chris LaCivita said in a statement that ‘any personnel lists, policy agendas, or government plans published anywhere are merely suggestions. Policy recommendations from external allies are just that—recommendations,’” Axios noted.

It certainly seems that the GOP is shifting into MAGA mode. Eric Trump’s wife, Lara recently became co-chair of the RNC and she is shaking things up, ditching the status quo for actual results for a change. Now, Trump’s sons are stepping up for the possible transition.
