Beloved black actor Morgan Freeman is trending on the X platform over his remarks from a resurfaced “60 Minutes” interview in which he offered up a simple solution to racism.

Freeman, one of America’s most cherished screen performers, was discussing Black History Month with legendary CBS reporter Mike Wallace which he scoffed at as being “ridiculous” in a clip from 2005. a time capsule from pre-Obama America before racial progress had been rolled back and bigotry weaponized by the left for political purposes.

The acclaimed star of “The Shawshank Redemption” who once portrayed South African leader Nelson Mandela in Clint Eastwood’s 2009 film “Invictus” for which he was recognized with a Best Actor nomination stunned Wallace with his rejection of the annual setting aside the month of February to honor blacks, something he found to be insulting and said that the way to end racism was to “stop talking about it.”

Asked why he found Black History Month to be ridiculous,” Freeman responded. “You’re gonna relegate my history to a month? What do you do with yours? Which month is White History Month?”

Wallace responded that he’s Jewish, prompting Freeman to ask which month is devoted to Jewish history, to which the reporter said there isn’t one.

“Why not? Freeman asked. “Do you want one?” To which Wallace responded no.

“I don’t either,” the actor said. “I don’t want a Black History Month. Black history is American history.”

Wallace asked, “How are we going to get rid of racism…”

“Stop talking about it,” Freemen responded. “I’m gonna stop calling you a white man…and I’m gonna ask you to stop calling me a black man. I know you as Mike Wallace, you know me as Morgan Freeman.”

X users reacted to Freeman’s common sense solution that is impossible in today’s toxic racial environment that’s been poisoned by Democrats and their allies.

The now 86-year-old Freeman, who played Batman’s equipment manager Lucius Fox in the Christopher Nolan Dark Knight trilogy, thinks very highly of another technological wizard, Elon Musk.

“I’m a huge fan of Elon Musk. I think he’s got the most incredibly forward-thinking ideas about where we can go technologically. What he’s done, nobody else has ever done,” Freeman said in a more recent interview of the billionaire Tesla/Space X CEO and X owner.

Freeman’s film career highlights include roles in “Driving Miss Daisy,” “Bruce Almighty,” “Seven,” “Unforgiven” and the Clint Eastwood pic “Million Dollar Baby” for which he won an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor.

While Freeman may be spot-on with his nearly two-decades-old solution for racism, he wasn’t on the side of freedom when it came to COVID, as he was one of the biggest jab-pushers during the Biden regime’s mass vaccination campaign.
