The kids are not okay 👇

Kid was threatening to kill one of his classmates on the bus — he’s now been charged and is in juvie for it — but what he told police during the investigation is just out of this world: He told them that in 2022, when he was just seven, he shot a man dead in an RV park in a sort of Johnny Cash “just to watch him die” affair.

No joke, a seven year old did this. Not only that, but he cannot be charged for this crime in Texas, as he was under ten years old at the time.

The unidentified child told school officials in the Nixon-Smiley Consolidated Independent School District that he had shot and killed a man in 2022 as he was being questioned for allegedly threatening to kill a student on a bus last week, according to a Gonzales County Sheriff’s Office news release.

The child told investigators first-hand information about the shooting death of 32-year-old Brandon O’Quinn Rasberry on Jan. 18, 2022, in Nixon, Texas, which is located approximately one hour east of San Antonio.

The child said he was visiting his grandfather at an RV park that day, a few lots from where Rasberry was living, the release stated. He told investigators he took a pistol from the glove box of his grandfather’s truck, entered the RV belonging to Rasberry, and shot him once, killing him.

The child told investigators he had never met Rasberry before and had seen him walking around the RV earlier in the day.

Never met the guy. Never had any hard feelings toward him. Just saw him walking around the RV park and made the decision to grab grandpa’s gun and shoot the guy dead in his RV.

Yet another time I must remind you people to keep your guns locked up!

And get this, there’s no way for authorities to charge this kid either, even though he straight-up admitted to the murder.

On April 12, investigators found the gun used in Rasberry’s murder at a pawn shop in a nearby town, and eventually matched shell casings from the scene with the gun used in the crime. But because the child was under the age of 10 at the time of the crime, he can’t be charged in connection to the 2022 homicide, the release said, citing the Texas Penal Code.

Bro, the fact that they have no legal recourse to convict this child of murder is beyond my comprehension. Like, this kid could be the next great serial killer and all they can do is put him in juvenile detention for some threat he made against a classmate on the bus.

I’m sorry, but lock this kid up and throw away the key. The world will be safer as a result and we’ll have one fewer serial killer to worry about.

Man, I never thought I’d argue for the lifetime detention of a 10-year-old, yet here we are. What a time to be alive!
