I bet the kids aren’t gonna be happy about this!

On Tuesday evening, the U.S. Senate passed a nAtioNaL sEcuRiTy bill with $95 BILLION in spending to Ukraine, Israel, and Taiwan. But besides the routine plan to ships tens of billions of dollars overseas for Raytheon, this package also forces TikTok to divest itself of Chinese ownership and sell its U.S. operations to an American company (or else be banned entirely).

(Trump has the chance to do something really funny if he wanted.)

TikTok’s parent company ByteDance is a Chinese company, which is required to have Communist Party members integrated into its governance. TikTok allows woke content to thrive, along with other mind-numbing videos that encourage people to be, well, as dumb as possible.

(But in China the app promotes education, training, STEM, and athletics)

Conservatives have noted the danger of letting the world’s largest totalitarian regime control the feeds that our young people follow:

Unfortunately, conservatives are (once again) understanding the problem but not why the Left wants to “fix” it, nor how the Left will use this for power, not principle.

This was supposedly a priority issue in an election year that might establish single-party rule.

They care so much about it that they packaged it with a bill to their favorite pet project, Ukraine.
