With Jewish students being openly bullied, harassed, and threatened on elite Ivy League college campuses while being denied entry to attend class, U.S. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and other members of the hard left “squad” are defending the anti-Israel student activists responsible for the antisemitic behavior.

With Columbia University forced to resort to virtual learning as Occupy-like tents spread to Yale, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Tufts University, and beyond, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) took to X to blast AOC.

“Stunning. A sitting Member of Congress, standing alongside Biden, expressly celebrating the shameful displays of antisemitism & anti-American hate at Columbia & Yale,” he wrote.

Cruz shared a clip in which Ocasio-Cortez said, “It is especially important that we remember the power of young people shaping this country today, as we once again witness the leadership of those peaceful student led protests on campuses like Columbia, Yale, Berkeley and many others.”

U.S. Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) also went to bat for the Jew-hating protesters, claiming they are being “made to look bad,” while falsely declaring that Israel is engaging in genocide in its attempts to eradicate the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas.

“Throughout history, protests were co-opted and made to look bad so police and public leaders would shut them down. That’s what we are seeing now at Columbia University,” Omar posted. “The Columbia protesters have made clear their demands and want their school not to be complacent in the ongoing Genocide in Gaza. Public officials and media making this about anything else are inflaming the situation and need to bring calmness and sanity back.”

President Biden uttered his own “very fine people on both sides” remark at the same Earth Day event in Northern Virginia that AOC attended, though the friendly media didn’t exactly frame it that way.

“I condemn the antisemitic protests,” Biden said when a reporter asked about the unrest on college campuses. “I also condemn those who don’t understand what’s going on with the Palestinians.”
