Cantankerous actor Alec Baldwin just can’t catch a break it seems, not even to get a cup of coffee.

A video posted on X by Crackhead Barney, a performance artist and ambush interviewer, captures Baldwin being accosted inside a New York City coffee shop, and after tolerating a lot of abuse, the notorious hothead eventually slaps the phone out of the person’s hands.

“White devil Alec Baldwin attacked me,” the video caption reads.

The woman recording — presumably Crackhead Barney — is clearly anti-Israel and she is harassing Baldwin to get on board in voicing support for Palestine.

“Alec can you please say free Palestine one time,” the woman says. “Why did you kill that lady? You killed that lady and got no jail time. No jail time? You’re putting innocent people in jail Alec Baldwin.”

Baldwin, who appeared to be on the phone with someone, ignored the woman. After ending his call, the actor walked over to the exit door and shot the protester a seething glare. Opening the door, he motioned for the woman to leave.

“Free Palestine, Alec, just one time and I’ll leave you alone. I’ll leave you alone, I swear. Just say ‘Free Palestine’ one time,” she said.

When Baldwin told an employee to call the police, the woman shot back, “You’re the f*cking criminal. C’mon Alec, just say ‘Free Palestine’ one time… ‘Free Palestine. F*ck Israel. F*ck Zionism.’ Please say it!”

It was at this point that Baldwin’s patience wore out. He steps toward the woman and appears to make a furious swipe at her phone, which is when the video ends.

For the record, Baldwin was indicted for involuntary manslaughter in January for the shooting death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the set of the film Rust, and goes on trial in July.

Social media influencer Vince Langman posted what others may have been thinking of the coffee shop harassment: “I honestly never thought it would be possible, but this crazy annoying anti-semite Karen made me feel sorry for Alec Baldwin.”

Of course, there were differing opinions on the idea of feeling sorry for the actor… here’s a sampling of responses to the story, as seen on X:
