Liberals call Conservatives a myriad of unwarranted names, and the most ridiculous is “book banners.”

The truth is that right-leaning parents simply don’t want sexually explicit and age-inappropriate books in our children’s schools. If liberals want to read about pornography, masturbation, transgenderism or something else with their kids at home, that’s their right…depraved, but not our issue. If a liberal entrepreneur/activist with blue hair, pronouns and rainbow flags wants to open a bookstore and stock it with smut, that is ze/zir/zim/they prerogative as a private business owner.

Pink Floyd said it best:

We don’t need no education
We don’t need no thought control
No dark sarcasm in the classrooms
Teacher, leave them kids alone
Hey! Teacher, leave those kids alone

The problem is, they won’t.

Teachers, school boards and administrators seem to refuse to teach reading, writing and arithmetic and opt for poison at every turn. This is particularly true when it comes to literature. Since the woke folk have declared nearly every piece of classic literature racist, homophobic or misogynistic, they have the freedom to push their agenda and pure filth on our kids in terms of reading.

The newest form of debris that has been trendily popping up in high schools across the country is “The True Story of Hansel and Gretel” by Louise Murphy.

It’s valuable to mention that this book is intended for those 18 and older . . and for good reason. It’s porn. Literally. Those intent on corrupting our children don’t care. They are experts in Trojan horseing perversion into the minds of our children. The schools know what they are doing and will tell parents that this book is historical fiction about children surviving during the Nazi occupation in Poland. Great, you think, Hansel and Gretel is a lovely tale, plus my child will learn social studies and about the atrocities of Nazism.

Ummmmm, maybe if they can get past the witches, sex, murder, gang rape, nipple obsession, and prolific use of the word, “F–K” in the book. When analyzing how graphic and sexual these passages are, it’s hard to see any redeeming literary value.

In one of the most troubling passages, which is too graphic to repeat, Gretel’s violent rape is discussed and the aftermath of what happened to sexual bodily fluids was described in lurid detail.

Other highly sexual passages are prolific. From book page 185 is something you would find in Penthouse Forum: “Her last thought was of her husband, the Mechanik. Of his hands on her breasts. His lips. She groaned uneasily as she remembered him. Something was wrong.”

Page 133 says “she obeyed him and slid her buttox forward. ‘Almost come off the chair. Spread your legs wide.’ He started at Nelka, her breasts full and leaking milk. Her body tilted back. Her sex surrounded by her dark blond hair, was violet pink.”

The word nipple is mentioned often (eight times) and early. Page nine: “He buried his wife beside the road after the strafing, when she lay with her beautiful torso facing the sky, dress torn, nipples like dead eyes, unblinking.” How about the delight on page 83? “Instead his hand went to the woman’s breast and he pinched her nipple between his thumb and middle fingers.” What about page 159: “she knew her nipples were hardening as she drew off his tunic.”

The word “breasts” pops up 10 times, “penis” 11: “Only Sister Rosa stared at the man’s swollen penis pushing against the cloth.”

However, “F–K” wins the prize, as it is mentioned 16 times.

If one of our children said “F–K” in class, what do you think would happen? If a kid spoke of hard nipples or a swollen penis, would that be kosher? No, it would result in a call to parents, disciplinary action, or even suspension. It violates almost every school code of conduct. So, why are children reading these books?

The answer is depravity. There can be no other feasible answer. Educators will try to legitimize the use of this book. The argument will be, “We don’t discuss THOSE parts of the book.” First of all, nearly every page has an expletive or sexual scenario so how are you getting around the adult content? Second, the kids had to READ those parts, so the damage is done. If it is not age-appropriate to discuss, then why should it be read? Third, by making them read it, you are debasing their minds and by not discussing it, you are legitimizing the conduct.

“It is important for kids to understand the horrors of Holocaust/rape and challenge their minds,” the sanctimonious educators will profess. Wrong. Many suitable books discuss The Holocaust or sexual trauma without the infusion of pornography.

As one Goodreads review articulately says, “If you want to read about horrific child rape and have your values challenged, read Maya Angelou’s personal account. This is a woman who has used her hurt to rise above the ordinary.”

Additionally, there are historical videos of the horrors of the Holocaust that are true, factual, and not sexual to show children. Even “The Diary of Anne Frank” would do.

The truth of the matter is that the days of passive parenting are over. We can no longer trust our once-trusted learning institutions to do what is right by our children. We have to work tirelessly to protect them. The only way to do that is by monitoring your kids closely, educating yourself on the issues, and speaking up.

As liberals say, “Silence is violence.” Perhaps in this one small instance, they are right. Hey, a broken clock is right twice a day.
