Late-night show host Jimmy Kimmel was broken by Donald Trump, as were many coastal progressives, especially those in the entertainment business. His terminal case of Trump Derangement Syndrome is showing again.

Kimmel said this week that he was not planning on hosting the 2025 Oscars show but now he may change his mind. Why? Because former President Trump won’t stop trolling Kimmel on Truth Social.

This is what Trump posted on Wednesday:

 “Stupid Jimmy Kimmel, who still hasn’t recovered from his horrendous performance and big ratings drop as Host of The Academy Awards, especially when he showed he suffered from TDS, commonly known as TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME, to the entire World by reading on air my TRUTH about how bad a job he was doing that night, right before he stumbled through announcing the biggest award of all, “Picture of the Year.” It was a CLASSIC CHOKE, one of the biggest ever in show business, and to top it off, he forgot to say the famous and mandatory line, “AND THE WINNER IS.” Instead he stammered around as he opened the envelope. Supposedly his wife, and even management, begged him not to do it, “DON’T READ HIS TRUTH, JIMMY, PLEASE DON’T DO THIS,” they said. He was made to look like a FOOL, which he is, and at the same time go down in Television History as the WORST HOST EVER OF THE ONCE VAUNTED ACADEMY AWARDS!”

The 2024 Oscars were about a month ago. Trump is holding on to a grudge against Kimmel for his hosting of the event that night. Trump confused Al Pacino with Kimmel in his social media post. 

Kimmel got a laugh out of this. “I don’t know. That must be why they asked me to host the show again next year.  Which I wasn’t planning to do but now I might,” he added. “Maybe – you know what – maybe you can watch on the TV in the rec room at Riker’s with all the guys.”

Of course, Kimmel read the post when it went live, even though he was hosting an awards show live on television. Kimmel and his fellow travelers who suffer from TDS, even though Trump hasn’t been in office since January 2021, wanted to focus the attention on himself.

The dirty little secret is that Kimmel and other late-night show hosts are making bank trashing Donald Trump as they do on their shows. Trump’s political career is a huge gift to their careers. He slammed Trump so he was asked to host the ceremony again next year. Trump may be back in the White House, though Kimmel hopes he is in prison. 

Kimmel explained his side of the story. Then, he ended with a reference to Will Smith’s unhinged behavior against comedian Chris Rock.

Additionally, Kimmel took a jab at Will Smith’s infamous Oscar attack on Chris Rock. “Supposedly his wife, and even management, begged him not to do it, “DON’T READ HIS TRUTH, JIMMY, PLEASE DON’T DO THIS,” they said. “In his stories – everyone always begging. They came to me with tears in their eyes they said “Sir? Please sir, don’t read Trump’s post, sir.”
 
“Which is not at all what happened. What happened is I saw – they showed me what he posted.  I looked and I said, “Oh I’m gonna read this”  My wife went “oh no” I said “oh yes!” and that was that. That was the whole story,” he added. “And by the way – keep my wife’s name out of your f-ing mouth.

No one has ever confused Kimmel for someone who shows class in any situation. 

It’s going to be lit if Trump wins in November.
