Our team was back on the ground in Nashville for the second day of the trial to release the Covenant School shooter manifesto and George the Greek confronted activist Brent Leatherwood, who is leading the charge to prevent the manifesto from being released to the public.

According to a Change.org petition:

Brent Leatherwood has continually used his platform as President of the ERLC given to him by the Southern Baptist Convention to push for policies that are against the wishes of those he represents in the SBC. Leatherwood was a big part of push for Red-flag laws and other gun control efforts in the state of Tennessee after the Covenant School shooting took place. Leatherwood also lobbied continually to keep the shooter’s manifesto from the public eye. Now that the manifesto is being leaked, Leatherwood quickly rushed to a camera in order to condemn THE LEAKER not the shooter, calling the leaker a “viper!”

This is a repeated theme from Leatherwood. He is missing in action for the big fights such as the banning of child mutilation surgeries, but he is ready and willing to attack those who seek to entrust the public with the truth.

“Are you being paid at all to be the opposition here!?” George the Greek asked Leatherwood.

Leatherwood refused to answer any questions.

“Who knows what the real motivations are? But what we are doing is bringing you the truth. Sometimes the truth hurts and we understand people get hurt. But it’s in the public conscience and we must know what is happening here. But unfortunately, there is an apparatus designed to suppress all of this information that the public should know,” George the Greek said.

Just like most Democrats, Leatherwood could care less about public transparency.

“What are the motivations behind it? We can only surmise. We are not going to get any answers on this,” he added.

Leatherwood is trying really hard to prevent people from exposing evil. Ironically, it always seems as if manifestos are only released when it benefits the left. Why do you think that is?
