For French government officials, gender ideology trumps one’s right to freedom of religion. And although Catholicism is nearly 2,000 years old, none of that matters when it comes to Progressive dogma. Subsequently, the government is going after a Roman Catholic priest for claiming homosexual desires are a “weakness.”

According to The Christian Post:

A French government official has called for the prosecution of a Roman Catholic priest over a video he posted to social media describing homosexual inclinations as “a weakness” that must be fought like any other sin.

Father Matthieu Raffray, 45, posted the video to his more than 60,000 Instagram followers on March 15, admonishing them to resist their sinful weaknesses, including homosexuality among them.

“We all have weaknesses: those who are greedy, those who are angry, those who have homosexual tendencies!” Raffray said in the incriminating video, according to French Catholic media outlet Famille Chrétienne.

Raffray’s comments drew the ire of Aurore Bergé, a 37-year-old politician who has served as France’s minister for gender equality, diversity and equal opportunities since January.

Bergé released a statement on March 20 saying that Raffray’s comments about homosexuality were “unacceptable” and that she was reporting him to the Interministerial Delegation for the Fight against Racism, Anti-semitism, and Anti-LGBT Hatred (DILCRAH) to be prosecuted under Article 40 of the French penal code.

“I will not let anything go in the face of hatred, whatever it may be,” Bergé said in an X post.

This politician claims she will not “let anything go in the face of hatred,” but it is probably safe to assume that is not the case when it comes to hatred of Christianity. Because bigotry is only acceptable when it is directed towards those on the right.

Also, she is acting like a total tyrant, as she clearly wants to intimidate religious officials that their faith is “unacceptable” and that they should fear practicing it. That is evil and a perfect example of Christianophobia and no one should condone that.

When unelected officials feel so bold in their pathetic attempt to control one’s faiths and thoughts, that is a clear sign you are living under a tyrannical government, or at the very start of one.

This is why hate laws are so asinine. There is no logic behind it and is subjective, at best. This politician clearly hates conservatives but wants to control the thoughts of the very people she loathes so that they jump on the gender-bender bandwagon with her. But I doubt she will have much success in that department since you cannot really manipulate and/or brainwash people with core values.

Thankfully, in America, it is perfectly lawful to hate people, as our Bill of Rights addresses the stupidity in legislating opinions. Although it is morally permissible to hate certain people, you simply cannot mandate thoughts. And what we are now seeing is the the French government attempting to dictating what you can or cannot think and that is reprehensible, at best.
