Imagine this: A conservative school district is seeking to hire an assistant superintendent in hopes that that person will be able to examine the presence of blackness.

The press would have a field day, that district would be subject to many lawsuits, and it would be nationally condemned to the fullest extent possible. But because a Minnesota school district has replaced the word “blackness” with “whiteness” we are supposed to believe that hiring someone to be “racially conscious” towards white people is morally permissible.

It is also unclear what the presence of whiteness even means, but I digress.

Everyone reading this knows that hiring someone to examine a skin color is the most racist thing we have heard in a long time. But because it’s racist towards the majority of people in this country, we are not supposed to care. But we do care and we will never condone that.

According to The College Fix:

A school district in Minnesota is seeking an assistant superintendent who can “actively listen for both spoken and unspoken racial concerns” and “examine the presence and role of ‘Whiteness’ in systems and structures.”

The candidate for the St. Louis Park Public Schools position also must be “open to feedback regarding their own racial blind spots” and “seek multiple racial perspectives.”

Further, the applicant must “foster joy” and “cultivate a culture of accountability for systemic racial equity transformation.”

As noted by Alpha News, the position — which has a “significant influence in how the school district operates” — pays between $134,000 and $201,000 per year.

Other requirements include:

“demonstrat[es] leadership for racial equity”

is “racially conscious”

“prioritize[s] their own racial equity journey”

makes use of “effective restorative practice techniques”

Wow. That is an awful lot to pay someone just to “examine the presence and role of ‘Whiteness.”

Being a “racially conscious” person sounds so cringy and is disgusting. How can you be conscious of an insignificant birth trait? This also implies that each race is a monolith and I just can’t believe we are having this conversation in 2024.

How exactly does one “foster joy” and “cultivate a culture of accountability” when punishing someone based on skin color? You can’t. Because there is no joy in these people. If they even had a little bit of happiness, they would not despise students for how light or dark their skin is.

This is evil and will discourage hard work. And on top of that, it would do nothing beneficial and will cause division and hate. That is all this will accomplish. And that is reprehensible, at best.

That said, if I didn’t know any better I would say this is illegal.
