Ten days until Joe Biden is finally out the door and we no longer have to deal with him anymore.

On Friday, he truly was on a bizarre tear. As we reported earlier, he had a call with California Gov. Gavin Newsom where he denied there was any problem with the fire hydrants. Newsom told him they had to do something about “misinformation” on the fires. “Misinformation” — as in, how dare anyone call out Newsom’s failures?

But Biden wasn’t done yet with the crazy.

He took some questions after making remarks about the economy. That’s when he seemed to get confused. He said he stepped aside to unify the party. He claimed, “I would’ve beaten Trump, could’ve beaten Trump. Kamala could’ve beaten Trump, would’ve beaten Trump.”

Does Joe know the election is over and Kamala lost?

He said he didn’t want to be one who caused a party that wasn’t unified to lose an election. But that’s exactly what he did. Or, more exactly, the party elites did by not being honest about his issues and sticking with him. Ultimately, it came back to bite them.

Then he got more bizarre when he was asked what other pardons or commutations he was considering in these last ten days. Biden’s answer was all over the place.

“It depends on some of the language and expectations that Trump broadcast in the last couple of days as to what he’s going to do,” Biden replied.

“The idea that he would, uh, punish people for not adhering to what he thinks should be, uh, policies related to his well-being is outrageous. But there’s still consideration of some folks. Nothing…but no decision.”

What the heck is he saying there? Is he really saying who he pardons will depend on what Trump might say about someone in the last ten days? That’s just crazy. Talk about Trump living rent-free in his head.

But one of the big questions is, would he pardon himself? I’ve said I thought that was a possibility, but the only thing that might hold him back is that he might be more concerned about how it would look than he would be about protecting himself from the “evil Trump.” A reporter asked him flat out if he would do it:

Biden said he wasn’t considering it because he “didn’t do anything wrong.” Then why did he pardon Hunter — why would he be considering any of these other people, reportedly folks like Anthony Fauci and Liz Cheney, if they didn’t do anything wrong?

Biden doesn’t understand he just gored himself and anyone he now pardons.

But he wasn’t quite done yet. He commented on Mark Zuckerberg’s decision to do away with formal fact-checkers on Meta and switch to an X “Community Note” kind of a system. Again, his remarks were extremely disjointed and incoherent.

“I find it to be just contrary to American justice, the way we talk about one another. Telling the truth matters! […] “You think it doesn’t matter? That they let be printed where millions of people read it, things that are simply not true? I want to know what that’s all about. It’s just completely contrary to what America is all about.”

“We want to tell the truth, we haven’t always done it as nation, we want to tell the truth. The idea that a billionaire can buy something and say, from this point on, we’re not gonna fact check anything. And you know when you have millions of people going on line and reading this stuff, I think it’s really shameful.”

First, social media shouldn’t be controlling speech, particularly not at the behest of the government. Zuckerberg revealed the pressure he was getting from the Biden team, and that’s doubtless part of the reason for Joe’s rant.

Second, Zuckerberg is supposedly going to employ a much better system with crowd-sourced clarification rather than censorship. Biden claims telling the truth matters. What he really means is the narrative that they push matters. No, America is not about censorship. Controlling what people read is un-American.

It isn’t about the truth. Biden has lied constantly; he’s the last one who should be ranting on about the importance of truth when he has such a problem with it. If he cares about the truth, he should start telling it.
