Drone sightings across New Jersey and little explanation from elected officials left Americans frightened, but the incoming president is vowing to shed some light on the situation.

President-elect Donald Trump is promising to release a report on the drone sightings in December 2024 after citizen concerns were met with tight lips from lawmakers. Speculation on who (or what) was behind the sudden influx of drones hovering took over social media, but very few facts were ever released by officials. Those in charge simply told Americans to remain calm, but gave no reason to believe the aircrafts did not pose a threat to the safety and security of coastal residents.

Trump is vowing to give people the answers they want.

Following the funeral of President Jimmy Carter, Trump hosted America’s Republican Governors at Mar-a-Lago. He gave an address, then took some questions from the press where Fox’s Peter Doocy probed him about the drone story that seems to have all but disappeared from the radar.

“A story that kind of disappeared very suddenly – do you have any idea whatever happened to the drones?” Doocy asked.

“What happened to drones?” Trump responded.

“Well, you said you knew– you thought the government knew what was happening with these drones over New Jersey. There were some by Bedminster–” Doocy clarified.

“I don’t know. They’re all over Bedminster a lot. I’m going to give you a report on drones about one day into the administration because I think it’s ridiculous that they’re not telling you about what’s going on with the drones… Peter, thank you very much. Does [President Joe] Biden do – I mean does he do this kind of a news conference?” the president-elect said.
