After completely shutting the press out of President-elect Donald Trump’s “hush money” trial, Judge Juan Merchan is allowing audio during the sentencing.
Social media users are baffled by the decision to allow audio of the sentencing to be broadcast after refusing anything during the trial. Many believe this to be a political move, claiming the judge wants the “world” to hear him “sentence Donald Trump.”
Dear Supreme Court:
Judge Merchan is allowing audio tomorrow in the court.
He allowed nothing during the trial.
The only reason for this—obviously—is so the world can hear Merchan sentence Donald Trump.
If that doesn’t scream everything you need to know about this case, I…

Mollie Hemingway agreed, saying Merchan is allowing audio “for maximum political effect.”
Just keeps getting worse. Judge Juan Merchan, the literal Biden donor who oversaw the deeply flawed Alvin Bragg prosecution of Donald Trump, is allowing audio tomorrow for maximum political effect. He allowed nothing during the show trial he ran.

Unfortunately for Trump, the Supreme Court declined to block the stay of sentencing that his lawyers had asked for, meaning the incoming president will be sentenced on Friday as planned.
As BizPac Review previously reported:
Trump urged the justices to halt the sentencing in an emergency application on Wednesday, arguing his appeal would “ultimately result in the dismissal of the District Attorney’s politically motivated prosecution that was flawed from the very beginning, centered around the wrongful actions and false claims of a disgraced, disbarred serial-liar former attorney, violated President Trump’s due process rights, and had no merit.”
Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg wrote Thursday in a brief that there is “no basis” for stopping the sentencing, noting there is “only one President at a time.”
“Nonemployees of the government do not exercise any official function that would be impaired by the conclusion of a criminal case against a private citizen for private conduct,” the brief stated.
X users weighed in on the judge’s decision:
“You have nothing to do with corrupt judges, who make injustice legal, who plot against good people and sentence the innocent to death”.

Every single stunt Merchan pulls is ammunition for an appeal.
He should be removed from the bench and lose his law licence.

Right now he’s staring in the mirror, working on his inflections, reciting the last speech of his claim to fame. He is already a legend in his own mind and he thinks he is making history tomorrow.

I can’t see how Merchan and his daughter aren’t investigated, charged, criminally prosecuted for election interference and punished
Separately, Merchan is exposed for violating Trump’s 1A rights with the illegal gag order
This whole thing will fall apart FAST under appeal

Merchan wants publicity like Fani Willis. I hope it works out as badly for him.

May God put him to shame! This judge is evil! So cunning and calculated in what he’s doing to harm Trump any way he can. I’m praying for the Lord to intervene and deliver Trump from all his enemies!
