President-elect Donald Trump on Thursday night will host a group of Republican governors at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Florida, in order to go over the agenda for his second administration.

The incoming president is also expected to meet with Democratic Pennsylvania Sen. John Fetterman at Mar-a-Lago over the weekend. The meetings come after Trump met with Senate Republicans on Wednesday to discuss his agenda and plans to pass certain legislation. He is expected to meet with House Republican leadership over the weekend.

Republican Govs. Kay Ivey of Alabama, Mike DeWine of Ohio, Bill Lee of Tennessee, Henry McMaster of South Carolina, Ron DeSantis of Florida, Glenn Youngkin of Virginia, and Kim Reynolds of Iowa are all expected to attend the meeting.

“Excited to meet with President [Donald Trump] tonight at Mar-a-Lago,” Reynolds posted on X. “I stand ready to help enact his agenda of Making America Safe, Prosperous, and Great Again!”

The conservative states could play a prominent role in enforcing Trump’s policies over the next four years, including helping to carry out his mass deportation and border security plans.
