Driving in snow isn’t hard.

  • Get good all-weather tires. Don’t cheap out on things that separate you from the ground (shoes, beds, building foundations, and tires).

  • Don’t drive a rear-wheel-drive Mustang in the winter.

  • Spend 10 minutes in an empty parking lot to practice how to get out of a fishtail (where the rear end slides) and to measure your stopping distance.

  • Drive slow.
