“A Liberal is a Conservative Who Hasn’t Been Mugged Yet” was coined because naive voters sometimes don’t realize the severity of their votes. While some liberals in Los Angeles may be quick to attribute the city’s worst wildfire disaster to climate change—potentially adding fuel to the fire—others may be in for a harsh wake-up call.

Comedian Adam Carolla was evacuated from his house last night due to leftist incompetence, and he has made a prediction from his hotel room: “They’re going to find out, they’re going to get bit by their own snake. They’re going to convert. I am telling you, these are the bluest people on the planet, and they’re going to be pissed when the Coastal Commission tells them to f–k off.”

While it’s true some will wake up to the fact that when the Dems have total control over an area, very bad things happen. However, it’s doubtful it will make a significant difference; nonetheless, it’s not impossible.

Los Angeles voters tend to suffer from Stockholm Syndrome and, more often than not, sympathize with their abusers. They develop sympathy and an emotional attachment to the elected officials who have caused them harm and won’t think twice to vote against their best interest. Thus, it will not be surprising if the disgraced Karen Bass wins a second term.

That being said, there is hardly ever a reason to victim blame, which is why it’s incredibly heartbreaking to all the residents, first responders, and animals who are even the least bit affected by this. Nonetheless, something has to change and that starts at the ballot box.
