Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill recently updated his profile picture on X. And it clearly indicated his desire to leave the team.
Hill’s new profile image is a photoshopped version of his face on Antonio Brown’s body, capturing the moment Brown infamously walked off during a game with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2022.
Some background – In the third quarter of a game against the New York Jets, with the Bucs trailing 24-10, Brown took off his helmet, jersey, shoulder pads, and undershirt.
He then threw his jersey and gloves into the stands, seemingly frustrated. As he walked off the field shirtless, he jogged through the end zone, making a peace sign gesture to the crowd before disappearing into the tunnel at MetLife Stadium.
Hill’s now joking about that. A threat that he is about to do the same to the Dolphins.
I don’t know, man. I don’t think comparing yourself to Brown, a guy with child support and mental health issues, is the way to go.
Not very flattering.

Tyreek Hill Says He’s Out
Tyreek Hill photoshopped his face onto Antonio Brown’s body just days after he sparked controversy by, according to head coach Mike McDaniel, making himself unavailable late in a game against … the Jets.
“I was informed he was unavailable right before a drive,” McDaniel told reporters. “I was not informed that it was a new injury. Focus was on players on the field.”
The Dolphins were eliminated from playoff contention before the game, and Hill had only recorded two catches for 20 yards. Following the game, Hill hinted at his potential departure from Miami.
“This is my first time I haven’t been in the playoffs,” Hill said. “I just gotta do what’s best for me and my family. If that’s here or wherever the case may be, I’m finna open that door for myself. I’m opening the door. I’m out, bro.”
“It was great playing here, but at the end of the day, bro, I got to do what’s best for my career. I’m too much of a competitor to be just out there.”
That’s when a reporter asked him if he was thinking about leaving Miami, at which point Hill seemed to realize he went way too far in such an informal interview. He mumbled, lost his words, and eventually just said “Yes” as he was already walking away.
Raise your hand if you had Tyreek Hill going full Antonio Brown to end the 2024 #NFL season!

He’s Pretty Frustrated
Tyreek Hill would eventually change his profile picture back to one of himself in a Dolphins uniform. But it seems the damage may already have been done.
The Dolphins ended the season with an 8-9 record and did not make it to the playoffs. It was the first instance since Hill joined the NFL in 2016 that he did not participate in the postseason.
Where might he end up?
The Los Angeles Chargers could trade for Hill, especially if they aim to provide Justin Herbert with a major offensive weapon. Their cap space and young receivers like Ladd McConkey and Quentin Johnston could make Hill an excellent fit.
There’s speculation that Hill might return to the Kansas City Chiefs, where he spent his first six seasons and won a Super Bowl. With several wide receivers set to hit free agency, Hill could be a high-end weapon for Patrick Mahomes.
It seems unlikely he could mend relationships in Miami. He’s happily burning bridges right now.
