The Gateway Pundit reported on the generous Christmas miracle at the hands of Dave Portnoy, the founder of Barstool Sports and the man behind the viral “One Bite” pizza reviews.
Portnoy stopped by Tiny Brick Oven, a veteran-owned establishment in Baltimore’s Inner Harbor, which was on the verge of closing its doors forever—until Portnoy stepped in.
His stop at Tiny Brick Oven captured the spirit of Christmas and shone a harsh light on the neglect small businesses face under Democrat-led policies in cities like Baltimore.
Owner Will Fagg shared the devastating news with Portnoy: the shop would close permanently on Christmas Day.
That is when Portnoy stepped up. After scoring the pizza a respectable 7.9 out of 10 and praising Fagg’s infectious Christmas spirit, Portnoy pledged to cover the $60,000 needed to keep the shop afloat for another year and help to secure a liquor license.

After hearing about the story, hedge fund billionaire Bill Ackman joined the moving efforts to help the small businessman.
Ackman encouraged government officials to stop dragging their feet on a liquor license and fast-track the process to keep Tiny Brick Oven open and allow it to thrive.
Governor @iamwesmoore, how about fast-tracking Tiny Brick Oven’s liquor license so they can stay in business and serve customers? It would be a wonderful holiday gift and a good demonstration of efficient and responsive government.
