The creator of “Yellowstone” has a new show, and conservatives may hear some familiar sentiments echoed in its episodes.
Taylor Sheridan, who also created the hit series “Landman,” lined up a zinger at popular beer brand Bud Light, which angered conservatives by teaming up with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney. This prompted a boycott of the brand which significantly impacted its stock market value and has resulted in what many believe to be an attempted reset with comedian Shane Gillis.
In the seventh episode of “Landman,” Billy Bob Thorton’s character Tommy Norris is visiting a bar with his friend ‘Dale’ when the waitress informs them the establishment is having a special on Bud Light.

“I bet you are,” Tommy chortles.
“How’s that working out for you?” Dale asks.
“Like a popcorn fart in church,” the waitress replies bluntly.

Order an Ultra which is still owned by same parent company. Why do I mention that? Because it really is the BRAND of Bud Light, not company (AB) that owns Bud Light. BL is forever tainted.
Personally, I drink Ultra, Busch, Natty, all AB owned. And would pay for any of those…

Kudos to Taylor Sheridan! Bud Light once was my go to beer but I haven’t had one since the tragic event. pic.twitter.com/BvrAr1NfW6

It’s not that people are mad, it’s that Bud Light’s entire shtick was being one of the guys. They made clear they aren’t, so the guys went elsewhere. Nobody buys the beer because it is great, but because of branding. They destroyed the brand, and are paying the price.
