A homosexual couple who pled guilty to committing monstrous acts on their young adopted sons learned their sentence after having “truly created a house of horrors.”

In stark contrast to the all too common occurrences of leniency toward convicted criminals, including rapists, a sizable sentence was handed down in Georgia late last week. More than two years after the arrest of William and Zachary Zulock on charges of sexually abusing their adopted sons and exploiting them as part of a pedophile ring, they each received 100 years behind bars without the possibility of parole.

“These two Defendants truly created a house of horrors and put their extremely dark desires above everything and everyone else,” said District Attorney Randy McGinley in a statement. “However, the depth of the Defendants’ depravity, which is as deep as it gets, is not greater than the resolve of those that fought for justice and the strength of the victims in this case. The resolve I have seen from these two young victims over the last two years is truly inspiring.”

As was reported, the Zulock’s were arrested in July 2022 and indicted on charges of incest, aggravated sodomy, aggravated child molestation, felony sexual exploitation of children as well as pandering for a person under 18 when they were accused of sexually abusing their adopted sons and victimizing them as part of a pedophile ring.

Hunter Lawless, one of the men who had led to the arrest of the Zulocks during an investigation into his own downloading of child pornography, pled guilty to sexual exploitation of children with an agreement to cooperate in the investigation of the gay couple.

He had contended that Zachary would send him Snapchat messages that included images of him sexually abusing his then-11-year-old adopted son with the caption, “I’m going to f*ck my son tonight. Stand by.”

An investigative report from Townhall’s Mia Cathell noted that, according to a relative, the Zulocks started leading a lavish lifestyle approximately one year after adopting the boys and all of their property had been seized, including their home and vehicles, and declared “property” of the state.

William pled guilty to charges brought against him, including incest, on Aug. 20, while Zachary pled guilty to most of his charges, save for two counts of incest, on Oct. 21. A judge went on to find him guilty for those charges as well after a bench trial.

In following the State’s recommendation, Judge Jeffrey L. Foster sentenced both Zulocks to 100 years in prison without the possibility of parole, followed by life on probation, a point McGinley stated, “all but guarantees that the victims will not have to worry as they grow older about their abusers being free.”

Lawless was sentenced to 20 years, the first 12 of which will be in prison, while Luis Vizcarro-Sanchez, who pled guilty to pandering in connection to a person under 18 and numerous counts of computer theft, was sentenced to 60 years in prison and was required to testify in trials or proceedings related to the Zulocks, the DA’s office detailed.
