Texas DPS pursue illegal alien smuggler. 12/16/24

Biden’s border chaos.

Although the Biden regime is in its last days in power, they are still doing everything possible to allow illegal aliens into the US.

Texas DPS pursued an illegal alien smuggler earlier this week in La Salle County. Alberto Hernandez, who was the smuggler, had 14 illegal aliens hiding in compartments in a Ford F-350. He led DPS troopers on a high-speed chase on IH-35 and was driving recklessly, endangering numerous other vehicles.

After attempting to evade the DPS, Hernandez drove off the road and bailed out of the truck, trying to escape. He was arrested for evading arrest and human smuggling. DPS handed over the 14 illegals from Mexico to the US Border Patrol.

Watch:

Texas has been a leading example in the US for battling illegal immigration. The Biden regime has intentionally left the border open, which has caused the US numerous problems, including an increase in violent crime and billions of dollars wasted taking care of people who should not be here in the first place.

Texas also has a campaign to put up billboards in Mexico and Central America warning people not to cross into Texas.

Texas has been very successful in deterring illegal immigration under Operation Lone Star which was launched in 2021 under Republican Governor Greg Abbott. The State has used the Texas DPS and the Texas National Guard to detect illegals crossing into the US as well as apprehending those already in Texas. The operation also pursues cartel members and human smugglers as well as working to stop drugs, including fentanyl, from entering the US.

Article IV, Section 4 of the US Constitution gives the US Government the authority to stop an invasion of the country. This has been intentionally ignored by the Biden regime.

“The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened) against domestic Violence.” Article IV, Section 4 of the US Constitution.

President Trump has promised to seal the border his first day in office.
