Rep. Dan Crenshaw went berserk on several conservatives Wednesday after they accused him of committing some chicanery.

It started with Nick Sortor, a conservative reporter who claimed on Twitter/X via anonymous sources that Crenshaw is the lead congressman “spearheading the effort to get a pay raise for Congress.”

“Last week when he was asked about his stock trading, Crenshaw whined that members of Congress haven’t had a pay raise since 2009,” Sortor wrote. “Crenshaw ALMOST got his way, with a pay increase for members + benefits being included in today’s massive spending boondoggle.”

“Recently, Crenshaw even said ‘you have no way to better yourself as a Congressman’ without being able to trade stocks. That’s INSANE. THIS GUY is responsible for LOADS of the garbage we see being thrown into spending bills. All for his own benefit. Time for Eye Patch McCain to go,” he added.

In response, Crenshaw unveiled a profane side of himself that he’d never shown the world before.

“Yeah or maybe you’re a f–king lying piece of sh-t because I’m not even on the YES list for the whip team,” he wrote back to Sortor. “Never have been. But hey, whatever gets you pathetic bottom feeders your click bait. F–king incels.”

Ouch!

Look at his angry tweet below (*Language warning):

But the war of words wasn’t over yet.

Responding to Crenshaw’s profane post, a prominent Twitter/X user known as Catturd (real name Phillip Buchanan) accused him of being an “America-last, Ukraine-first war pig who doesn’t need a raise because of all the money he makes when he miraculously became a stock expert since joining Congress.”

This angered Crenshaw even more.

“Anonymous coward like ‘catturd’ talking sh-t without any evidence,” he wrote back. “I’m used to it. Sorry I was guy fighting the wars that little b-tches like you would never dare to. One of us has actually served this country and continues to, while losers like you make money being trolls on social media.”

“I live in Atascocita, just outside Houston. If you think I’m ‘rich,’ you’re a f-cking idiot. The people getting rich off politics are the ‘influencers’ like Catturd selling their platforms to the highest bidder. Sorry to break to it yall, that’s the truth,” he added.

Look:

Catturd ultimately had the final word, as Crenshaw stopped responding after he posted the tweet above.

In his last-word post, Catturd noted that he’s an Army veteran, that he’s technically not anonymous, and that Crenshaw’s stock-trading history is in the public record.

Look:

As for the public, it appears they’ve sided with Sortor and Catturd. Their posts have received far more likes than Crenshaw’s posts.

Indeed, the only thing Crenshaw’s posts have inspired, aside from a few thousand likes, has been an overwhelming amount of criticism.
