Everyone, including tech company CEOs, wants to be friends with President-elect Donald Trump, signaling that the American economy could be on the verge of coming back in a big way.

Since his victory over Vice President Kamala Harris, leaders of all industries have flocked to Mar-a-Lago to talk business and politics with Trump. While the threat of tariffs may be drawing some of them in, like Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, others are motivated by the desire to invest in America.

Fox News host Jesse Watters discussed this on his show, pointing out that even former enemies of the president-elect are scrambling to board the Trump train before it’s too late.

“The CEO of the biggest venture capital firm in the world for tech, Softbank, is making a big bet on America,” Watters said, rolling a clip of the company’s CEO Masayoshi Son pledging a massive $100 billion investment in the United States over the next four years. Being the negotiator that he is, Trump asked Son if he’d be willing to put up $200B, to which the CEO said “I will try to make it happen.”

Apple CEO Tim Cook, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos, and TikTok CEO Shou Zi Chew have also dropped in on the future president.

“This is one of the big differences between the first time, the first term everyone was fighting me, but this term everyone wants to be my friend. My personality changed or something,” Trump mused.

“Zuckerberg made the pilgrimage a few weeks back and sources say Trump had him stand up with his hand on his heart while the January 6th Choir sung the national anthem,” Watters smirked. “Remember Facebook banned Trump after Jan 6, and now Trump sneaks in the J6 Choir so Zuckerberg has to stand. Power move.”

“All of the action takes place after dark, Trump’s a well-known night owl and revs up when the sun goes down,” Watters continued. “He’s announcing nominations, hosting dinners, and making calls after midnight while [President Joe] Biden’s been asleep since seven. World leaders have been burning up the phones for weeks trying to get tickets for the inaugural ball.”

With CEOs so willing to side with Trump this time around, America could be in for a very good four years.
