Health Ranger Report: Pastor Jamie Walden and Mike Adams discuss Christianity and MORAL COURAGE

  • Mike Adams and Jamie Walden discussed the perceived failings of modern Christianity, particularly its lack of defense for basic freedoms and its stance on controversial issues like COVID-19 vaccines.
  • According to Walden, approximately 97 percent of his work addresses the shortcomings of the modern church, which he believes has drifted from authentic Christian teachings due to a focus on rituals rather than genuine devotion.
  • Walden stressed that true Christianity is about a personal relationship with Christ and a genuine desire for a relationship with God, rather than merely fulfilling religious obligations or attending certain churches.
  • The interview addressed the dilution of Christian teachings through a “woke” approach that emphasizes niceness over biblical values, and the “hyper grace” mentality that tolerates evil and distorts the truth about God.

Former Marine Corps sergeant-turned-pastor Jamie Walden sat down with the Health Ranger Mike Adams on the “Health Ranger Report” to touch on the complexities of modern Christianity, moral courage and the challenges facing believers in today’s tumultuous world.

This insightful discussion offered a fresh perspective on the current state of the Christian faith and its relevance in today’s society. Adams got the ball rolling by expressing his frustration with the mainstream Christian church, particularly during the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) years when it failed to defend basic freedoms and even promoted vaccines that many believed to be harmful.

Walden agreed stating that approximately 97 percent of what he deals with is related to the shortcomings of the modern church. The former police officer and founder of Omega Dynamics emphasized that the term “church” encompasses a broad spectrum of beliefs and denominations, many of which have strayed from the authentic teachings of Jesus Christ. (Related: Mike Adams Sermon 50: The dangers of CORRUPTION creeping into Christian churches.)

Modern church focuses on rituals and external practices instead of AUTHENTIC DEVOTION

Walden highlighted a significant issue within the church today: a lack of authentic devotion to Christ. He explained that the modern church often focuses on rituals and external practices, such as tithing and attending services, while neglecting the essential aspects of true Christianity like humility, contrition and a genuine desire for a relationship with God.

This disconnect is evident in the Book of Revelation and other prophetic texts that warn of a time when Christians will prioritize form over substance, self-love over love for God and pleasure over moral integrity. Walden emphasized that salvation is not about fulfilling a checklist of requirements or attending a certain church. Instead, it’s about a personal relationship with Christ and a genuine desire to know and follow God.

The author and pastor encouraged believers to look beyond the rituals and focus on the heart of the Gospel, which is about loving God with all one’s heart, soul and mind.

Meanwhile, Adams raised concerns about the “woke” approach to interpreting Christianity, which often dilutes the teachings of Christ and prioritizes niceness, tolerance and relativism over true biblical values. Walden agreed, noting that this phenomenon is not new but rather a reiteration of the same struggles faced by ancient Israel.

Adams’ guest referenced the book of the Prophet Malachi, where God warns against the notion that all is well, and that evil is acceptable in his eyes. This “hyper grace” mentality, he argues, is a cosmic exchange, where the truth about God is replaced with a distorted and fallacious version.

“What they’ve done is they have done this cosmic exchange biblically. This is biblical, a cosmic exchange: the truth for a lie. That’s what we’re talking about here. They’ve exchanged the truth about God for a lie about God.”

One of the key debates in the interview is the role of moral judgment in Christianity. Walden explained that true love, as defined by God, is not passive or tolerant of evil. Rather, it involves making judgments, standing up for righteousness, and even taking action to protect the innocent.

This aligns with the teachings of Christ, who demonstrated both love and judgment in his ministry. Walden pointed out that this concept is often misconstrued in modern Christianity, leading to a distortion of what true love and justice entail.
