The Air Marshal National Council represents the federal law enforcement officers whose job it is to protect planes from terrorist attacks and other criminal activity in our nation’s airways.

They are warning that a terrorist attack may be imminent, and the TSA is not doing enough to help them thwart it.

As with the Border Patrol, the Air Marshals have not been especially happy with the Biden administration’s lackadaisical policies aimed at protecting the American people, and the concerns of one are related to those of the other. The Border Patrol is watching millions of unvetted aliens streaming into the country, and the Air Marshals are worried that some of them are determined to attack America.

This latest warning comes after a podcast with Shawn Ryan in which Sarah Adams outlined the increasing sophistication of Islamic terrorists. Her biography is impressive:

Sarah was an Intelligence Analyst and Targeter with the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). She also served as the Senior Advisor to the U.S. House of Representatives Select Committee on Benghazi, and was co-author of The Benghazi Committee Report: Proposed Report of the Select Committee on the Events Surrounding the 2012 Terrorist Attack in Benghazi with ISBN 978-1534994065, July 2016. The author also led Department of Defense (DoD) research and development efforts to discover, incubate, and deliver innovative data-driven, technology-enabled solutions to answer complex national security challenges.

I have watched clips from the podcast, and they are definitely worrisome. And her analysis of the increasing sophistication of the terrorists is backed up by reports that current training doesn’t take into account changes that have occurred in recent years, including the invention of explosive vests that bomb-sniffing dogs don’t recognize.

Obviously, the Air Marshals take this threat very seriously and are deeply concerned that the TSA and the Biden administration are not.

In this case, the Biden administration comes down to my old friend Alejandro Mayorkas, who seems to be at the center of about 70% of all the evil and dangerous things the Biden administration does.

I am in no position to judge the credibility of these warnings–not my field or area of focus–but it strains credulity that with our borders having been essentially open for years and the ability of undocumented aliens to hop on airplanes essentially unvetted our adversaries would not have smuggled hundreds or thousands of terrorists and soldiers into the United States.

How stupid do we think they are? Not THAT stupid.

Sarah also points out that much of the funding for these terrorists now comes from the United States itself. Most people are unaware of the fact that ever since the United States pulled out of Afghanistan the Biden administration has been airlifting US dollars into the country to the tune of tens of millions of cash every week.

Literally airlifting it in.

If Sarah is to be believed–and the story is obviously plausible, and her credentials are obviously solid gold–then we have a serious problem.

A problem that few people seem aware of, and too few people seem to care about.

Should we be worried? Obviously we should be concerned, but whether any attack is imminent is beyond my ken.

I just wish I could trust the people who are supposed to keep track of all this.
