Adam Schiff is now saying that he doesn’t think a president should be talking about “targeting his political opponents.” He seems to have forgotten his past comments about targeting political opponent Donald Trump in prior years.

It’s sad to know that the execrable Adam Schiff is now a senator from California

I know it’s California, but it’s still astonishing that anyone would vote for him after all he has done, and now we all have to deal with him on things like presidential appointments.

On Sunday, he was interviewed on ABC by George Stephanopoulos about the incoming Trump administration.

Stephanopoulos asked him if he wanted a pardon from Joe Biden and if he thought he would be prosecuted. Schiff acted like he wasn’t interested and claimed what he did on the Jan. 6 Committee was “vital, quintessential oversight.”

But even folks like ESPN’s Stephen Smith have questions now about what went on Jan. 6 at the U.S. Capitol.

Schiff claimed that the American people didn’t want J6 pardons, that they wanted something done about the crime.

Since Trump has made J6 pardons part of his campaign and 77 million Americans still voted for him, that would seem to refute Schiff’s argument. Yes, Americans want something done about crime, that’s another reason they voted Trump in — because the Democrats have been such a failure in that regard, pushing “defund the police” and reducing penalties for crimes. Fentanyl? Who created the border crisis over the past four years that has included the flood of so much fentanyl? Hint: it wasn’t Trump. Has Schiff checked in on what California looks like lately with all the crime? He wants to try to attack Trump for the issues that Democrats made worse. No one’s buying it, Adam.

But perhaps the most ironic thing he said was what he said about Kash Patel, Trump’s nominee for FBI Director. Schiff claimed the Patel was “unqualified,” and called him a “conspiracy theorist.”

First, let’s dispense with this lie that he isn’t qualified. Here’s Sen. Eric Schmitt (R-MO) laying out some of Patel’s many qualifications.

Twenty-three state Attorneys General wrote a supporting letter on his behalf, noting he was eminently qualified.

But then imagine the irony of Adam Schiff of all people calling anyone a “conspiracy theorist.” Isn’t Schiff the guy who told us for years about this “evidence” he had of Russia collusion? Didn’t he get censured for that by his fellow representatives in the House? Either he thinks people are clueless or they have 15 second memories, but we all remember, Adam.

I think it’s safe to say he had a ton of people excoriating him and pointing this out on X.

The fact that Schiff is so against Patel is another great recommendation for him.

Bottom line? The Democrats don’t want anyone coming in who’s going to to look into everything that has been done for the past few years because they’re afraid of what might come out.
