Outgoing “Squad” member Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-NY) tried to run down a guilt trip on white people in a stunningly racist X thread that to put it lightly, did not go over well with users.
The acquittal of Daniel Penny by a New York City jury who found him not guilty for the death of a violent black thug he put in a chokehold after he menaced subway riders last year has stirred emotions of those invested in the Black Lives Matter cause.
On Monday, the former Marine was given his freedom after his life was wrecked by Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg who was looking to railroad a white man for the heroic act of protecting his fellow New Yorkers, one that ended in tragedy with the accidental death of Jordan Neely.
Angry leftists vented their frustration after the verdict with one BLM leader calling for retaliation from “black vigilantes” and others hitting the streets. The notorious fire alarm puller took his grievances to social media in a Tuesday afternoon thread.
Dear White People,
I don’t know why I feel the need to keep talking to you. I don’t know why part of me still has hope for you and for us. Some of you are too far gone. But maybe enough of you aren’t and will join us in fighting to end white supremacy.

“Dear White People,” he began. “I don’t know why I feel the need to keep talking to you. I don’t know why part of me still has hope for you and for us. Some of you are too far gone. But maybe enough of you aren’t and will join us in fighting to end white supremacy,” an incredibly racist way of calling for unity against a ridiculously overblown nonexistent threat.
Bowman went on to invoke the names of checkered black martyr figures in his lengthy thread going back three decades to Rodney King before invoking the names of more recent alleged thugs who he suggested were victims of the “white supremacist” police including Michael Brown, Trayvon Martin and George Floyd.
I am 48 years old and I have seen countless incidents of brutal police violence and killings in my lifetime. The first Black man I saw violently attacked on camera was Rodney King. Those officers were acquitted.
— Rep. Jamaal Bowman Ed.D. (@JamaalBowmanNY) December 10, 2024
He also threw in the name of Breonna Taylor who was less a victim of police violence than her reckless boyfriend’s own stupidity, catching a bullet after he unwisely opened fire on police.
The world saw George Floyd murdered. His murderer knelt on his neck for 8 minutes and 46 seconds. I cried. And couldn’t stop crying. I saw five Black Memphis police officers beating a Black man to death on camera. White supremacy is not skin color. It’s a state of mind.

He then turned to Neely, getting fact-checked by community notes.
Bowman then went back to wailing about the phantom of “white supremacy” which only exists inside of the noggins of leftists.
The answer is never. You never have. And whenever you feel discomfort from your whiteness, Black people are harmed or killed. And there is never accountability or justice. This is the evil of white supremacy. It spans across geography and political parties and sickens us all.
— Rep. Jamaal Bowman Ed.D. (@JamaalBowmanNY) December 10, 2024
He capped it off with an emotional sendoff to Neely, taking a shot at Kyle Rittenhouse and Penney who he insinuated were given special treatment because of their skin color.
RIP Jordan Neely. The justice system failed you. Kyle Ritenhouse and Daniel Penny are free. You’re gone. We must still fight.

X users took a flamethrower to the soon-to-be ex-congressman and burnt him to a crisp.
The shameful thing is that this kind of stupid, resentful, and manipulative rhetoric ever worked. Now he is getting delivered a ratio, but a few years ago, there would be people in the comments apologizing for their privilege. Never forget—and never repeat—that madness. https://t.co/ukJtgwKexj

Dear Jamaal,
It’s not 2020 anymore. Nobody is falling for your stupid make-whitey-feel-guilty routine. And don’t forget to take the “Rep.” out of your bio in a few weeks.
Sincerely,
Christopher— Christopher F. Rufo ⚔️ (@realchrisrufo) December 10, 2024

Hey Jamaal Bowman, if you’re wondering why you lost your primary, it’s because of racist comments like this one from you.
I’m glad you’ll no longer be in Congress soon.

When a racist dumbass starts off with “Dear White People” I immediately stopped reading anything you have to say https://t.co/13pfOyTwoy

That’s a whole lot of words for someone who doesn’t want to talk to white people.

This is what racism looks like. https://t.co/YrE3cTFIzb

The volatile Bowman’s antics included the menacing of Republican House colleagues, racist rants, and most famously, illegally pulling a fire alarm in the Capitol to shut down efforts to keep the government funded.
But it was his anti-Semitic, pro-Hamas conduct over Israel’s war in Gaza that ultimately cost him his job when he was wiped off the map by his AIPAC-backed opponent in this summer’s Democrat primary, and very soon, there’ll be one fewer Democrat racist in Congress.
