U.S. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene called for harsh penalties for convicted pedophiles, reacting to the latest allegations against rapper Jay-Z.

The Georgia Republican posted on social media that pedophiles who are found guilty of crimes should receive the death penalty, naming the rapper and Sean Combs who has been accused of sex trafficking and sexual abuse of minors, among other charges.

“As far as P Diddy and now Jay Z being accused of raping children, I personally believe pedophiles should receive the death penalty if found guilty,” Greene wrote in a post on X Sunday.

“You rape a child, you drug and forcefully rape a child, you traffic children and sell them for sex, you should face the most severe consequences,” she added. “The entertainment industry’s sick methods of making stars needs to end immediately. And America’s child sex trafficking industry must be abolished.”

“Jay-Z, real name Shawn Carter, is accused of allegedly raping a 13-year-old girl at a party hosted by rapper and music producer Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs in 2000. Jay-Z has not been charged with or convicted of any offense and has denied the allegations against him as a ‘blackmail attempt’ by a lawyer who filed the federal suit,” Newsweek reported.

“The lawsuit was originally filed by Texas-based lawyer Tony Buzbee against Combs in October in a New York federal court. Buzbee filed the amended lawsuit on Sunday to name Jay-Z as a defendant. It alleges that Jay-Z and Combs raped the 13-year-old at a house party following the MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) in New York,” the outlet added.

Jay-Z blasted the lawyer and the lawsuit in a blistering statement on Sunday.

“My lawyer received a blackmail attempt, called a demand letter, from a ‘lawyer’ named Tony Buzbee. What he had calculated was the nature of these allegations and the public scrutiny would make me want to settle,” he said.

“No sir, it had the opposite effect! It made me want to expose you for the fraud you are in a VERY public fashion. So no, I will not give you ONE RED PENNY. These allegations are so heinous in nature that I implore you to file a criminal complaint, not a civil one,” he added.
