Murder. We just call it murder around here.
But in the court system, it’s not so simple.
This is the lowest of all lows and this dude getting off with just 12 years is absolutely wild.
Stuart Worby crushed up a chemical abortion pill and slipped it into a pregnant woman’s drink, causing the death of the young child in the womb.
Stuart Worby, 40, also gave the woman a number of other abortion tablets by using deception to blindfold her and engage in a sexual activity.
So, on top of it all, the woman was the apparent victim of some sort of perverted sexual assault by the baby killer.
Shortly after they were administered, she began bleeding and was sick in the bathroom, and attended Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital after enduring hours of pain and blood loss and underwent surgery.
She then found messages on Worby’s phone to his friend Wayne Finney to say “it’s working” and “There is a lot of blood”, causing her to realise this had been a planned termination.
Even in this story of cold blooded murder the Telegraph can’t get away from the sterilized pro-abort vocabulary like “planned termination.”
Hey, dummies, it’s called “premeditated murder.” I know that because the victim is in the womb that you don’t think it’s murder, but what else could you call this kind of killing?
But at least he’s getting prison. If the lady had done the exact same thing, taken pills to kill her child, this wouldn’t be a news story at all. It would just be another day of the week. She might even shout her abortion and be called a hero.
Anyways, back to the story …
Edmund Vickers KC, prosecuting, said at Friday’s hearing at Norwich Crown Court that it was ‘quite clear’ that the woman ‘wanted to have the baby.’
It’s also, quite clear, that the baby is a human being either way. Again, our moral ineptitude is clearly biasing this report and this case.
Another layer to this tragedy is that the mother in this case may never have another chance to become a mother. She has suffered infertility and had undergone treatments, but was never able to conceive before.
This was her first, and so far, only child. She may have lost her one chance to be a mother.
Upon his arrest, police found texts on his phone discussing abortion medication and a Google search for Misoprostol, as well as searches relating to whether a baby could survive an abortion.
Worby was found guilty following an earlier trial at Norwich Crown Court of administering a poison or using an instrument with intent to procure a miscarriage …
Sentencing Worby on Friday, Mr Justice Joel Bennathan told him: ‘You are a selfish man and set about aborting the baby without (the woman) knowing.’
How about “You are a murderer!”, judge? Wouldn’t those words hit a little stronger than just chastising him for procuring an abortion while being the wrong sex?
The woman who helped Worby obtain the abortion pills was also convicted in the crime, sentenced to “22 months in prison suspended for two years.”
A very light sentence for accomplice to murder, if you ask me.
If this kind of case doesn’t shock you into moral clarity on abortion, what will?
